Free Business Cards

Chris Wodke

When you are unemployed you will be attending job fairs, network events and going on interviews.  It is important to have business cards for all of these events. A good business card is important to present yourself professionally.
The card should have your name, contact information and position title. If you were an account at your last company, list accountant on your business card.

The card should be presented at the start of an interview or when meeting with someone at a job fair or network event.   Any email or web site listed should have professional sounding name. No cute or funny listings.  Any voice mail or answering machine reached by the numbers on your card should also be professional. No kids, pets in the background or funny messages. You are presenting yourself to potential employers.

Vista print offers free business cards at their web site. They can be reached at Vistaprint.com. I have had good feedback on their service.  You can select from a variety of templates.  They offer a variety of other services including web design and hosting
